Pastor Mike Williams: A Faith Leader Feeding Futures

For the past nine years, Pastor Mike Williams of Marvin United Methodist Church has been a steadfast presence in the Gray’s Creek community, leading efforts to support students and families through acts of compassion. From the early days of Backpack Buddies to launching and sustaining a food pantry at Gray’s Creek High School, Pastor Mike has been on the front lines of fighting food insecurity. Collaborating with school social workers, he ensures students and families in need are fed and cared for.

Pastor Mike reminds us that supporting our schools goes beyond having children in the system—it’s about investing in the future of our community. His unwavering commitment to meeting both physical and emotional needs makes him an essential part of the Cumberland County Schools family.
