12/18- Normal schedule- 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
12/19- Early Release – Students will be dismissed at exactly 1:00 p.m.
12/20- 1st Day of Winter Break- No School for students /staff
December 20th- January 1, 2018- Winter Break
January 2nd- 1st Day Back for Staff/ Students

We hope all of our Hefner Heroes have a safe, enjoyable Holiday! We look forward to seeing you all back in the New Year 2018!

DIDGERIDOO DOWN UNDER Assembly will be on December 13th at 9:00 a.m. for all 2nd- 5th Grade classes. The students will learn about Aussie culture, animals and more, all while moving & grooving to the pulsing rhythms of the didgeridoo!

All Pro Dad’s Day
Tuesday, Dec 12th from 7:20 a.m.-8:00 a.m. in the multi-purpose room
Team Up with other dads and kids at our school for a quick, fun breakfast. You’ll take away some great tips and resources to help you be the best dad you can be, and you’ll strengthen your relationship with your kids at the same time!

Kindergarten- 2nd Grade –
Tuesday, December 12th from 3:30 p.m. -4:30 p.m.
3rd Grade – 5th Grade-
Wednesday, December 13th from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

There will be drinks and snacks the children may purchase during the dance. Please note the dance ends at 4:30 and the students
need to be picked up promptly! If you have any questions you may contact Ms. Nikki Mosley

The Shop will open Monday, December 11th and continue through Friday, December 15th and is located in our school Media Center. Parents are welcome to come browse our shop also!

Shopping hours
Monday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Tuesday8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 8:00 – 4;30 p.m.
Thursday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Parent volunteers will be there to assist the children during their shopping experience and help them stay on their budget.

2017-2018 & 2018-2019 School Calendars Approved
The Cumberland County Board of Education recently approved the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 schools calendars for those who attend Traditional schools, Year-Round schools, Early College high schools, and Cumberland Polytechnic High School. The calendars have been posted on the District Website.
