Bill Hefner Elementary School is a place where your child can get a quality education with a staff that truly cares about what they do. The 2020-2021 school year is built on the successes of the previous year. From the first day of school in August to the last day of school in May, your children will work at a level that will make them shine when the year is completed.  This year I am challenging not only the staff to continue at a high level, but the children as well. In order to accomplish this, I will need your commitment, your assistance, your dedication and your trust.  With all of us working together as one we cannot help but reach the heights we are capable of.  I do expect that the staff will be setting high goals and expectations for your children this year just like I have set for them. I am confident that our experiences this upcoming year will be equally as rewarding as the year we just finished.  Thank you for what you have done and continue to do to make Bill Hefner Elementary a premier elementary school.

Sincerely,

Donald T. Cahill, EdD, Principal
