On March 2, 2017, Seventy-First High Football Players visited Bill Hefner Elementary school to celebrate Dr.Seuss Birthday. The players read several Dr. Seuss books to grade k-5th. The football players goal was to encourage and promote reading for all. It was evident that their goal was reached. Students were excited! Here is a picture of the football players and a few pictures of our staff and students dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss characters.

Image of 18 football players from seventy first high school lined up side by side wearing their football jersey with their number colored red white and blue. A table with books on it is in front of the players.
